eMapSite becomes reseller for Mapflow

eMapSite, the leading online distribution portal for digital mapping, announce that they have become a licensed reseller for digital mapping products published by the Content Division of Mapflow.

eMapSite will offer Mapflow data to commercial users who require the data for use in their geographic information systems (GIS) applications for such activities as assets and facilities management, planning and environmental impact assessment. The Irish mapping and aerial photography will also be offered as part of eMapSite's hosted solutions for web site owners who want informative and compelling mapping content.

The Mapflow data sets currently available for purchase online at www.emapsite.com, include 1:10,000 scale raster town mapping and a 40cm resolution aerial photography orthomap for Greater Dublin, a 1:350,000 scale raster national mapping for Ireland, along with orhophotomaps for twenty major Irish towns.

eMapSite enables potential customers to view the data online as a seamless data set to dynamically select a specific area they wish to purchase. Rather than deliver the data via download or on CD, eMapSite provides access to the purchased data via a secure URL link to their servers so customers can load the geo-referenced, application ready data directly into their GIS applications. This reduces the delivery and management costs of the data for both the customer and the data provider.
