In 2006 emapsite was appointed to deliver all online elements to a new service which provides secondary schools with digital mapping on demand.  Although licensing issues kept this service out of the classroom in the then school year the client, Becta, has been rolling the service out across England and Wales in 2007/2008.  The value and appreciation of mapping has never been greater and disciplines beyond geography have developed modules that benefit from the use of digital mapping by teachers and students alike.
