New
mapping solutions for kiosks and information points
eMapSite
is now offering an innovative interactive mapping solution
for kiosks and local information points. eMapSite
has just completed work on a kiosk solution for a new
visitor centre in north London that combines street-level
mapping and aerial photography with detailed information
on local facilities, places of interest and public transport,
such as bus routes. Users can seamlessly browse and search
for information using an intuitive touch-screen interface.
eMapSite can offer turnkey solutions for London,
Bristol and Dublin that include comprehensive content
on local businesses from our partners, e-Street. The mapping
solution can also be used with other third-party data
content. For further information or to request a demonstration,
contact Peter Baynes on 0118 973 6883.
Great
deal on Ordnance Survey Land-Form Profile data
eMapSite
can now provide a great deal on Land-Form PROFILE data
for Great Britain from the Ordnance Survey. eMapSite can
offer the Land-Form PROFILE dataset as an interpolated
grid at a greatly reduced price that represents savings
of over 75% on the current list price for the full GB
coverage. The data retains it's full resolution (10m grid,
+/- 1-1.8m vertical height accuracy) and elevation values
thereby retaining it's usefulness in a wide range of industries
and analysis such as line of sight analysis, terrain modelling,
cell placement analysis, visualization and 3-D draping
of complimentary datasets. For further information, contact
Miles Gabriel on 0118 973 6883 or sales@emapsite.com
eMapSite
to provide map content to Handbag.com
eMapSite has signed an agreement to provide mapping
content to Handbag.com, the premier women's interest web
site, to illustrate Travel and other features content.
Users will have access to interactive, information rich
city centre street maps, provided by eMapSite partner's
Lovell Johns.
Seminars
during May
eMapSite are taking part in a series of seminars
on mapping technology organised by our partners, Lovell
Johns. These are primarily addressed to local government
organisations, but all who are interested in mapping technology
are welcome to attend these free seminars. The seminars
