Flood Scores summarise information about flood depth and frequency at a given location into a single qualitative flood score, which can be used as an indicator of flood hazard. Flood Scores provide a simple-to-understand qualitative metric for flood hazard, accounting for flood intensity and frequency. As such, they allow for direct comparison of flood hazard between locations. Uses the Met Office’s latest set of peer-reviewed climate projections UKCP18. These data are aligned with RCP (RCP2.6, RCP4.5, RCP6.0, and RCP8.5) climate scenarios used in the IPCC 5th Assessment Report and span the period 1961–2100 (in 5-year steps from 2025-2100).
